фин., амер. теория циклов президентских выборов (теория, согласно которой фондовая конъюнктура зависит от четырехлетних циклов президентских выборов; сразу после выборов власти принимают меры по борьбе с инфляцией, снижению бюджетных дефицитов, и это ведет к снижению деловой активности и, соответственно, фондовой конъюнктуры; чем ближе новые выборы, тем больше правительство стремится стимулировать деловую активность, и это способствует биржевому подъему; в США данная теория была актуальна с конца 1960-х гг. до середины 1980-х гг.)
